RIYADH: ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is participating in the Interpol Anti-Corruption and Asset Recovery Global Conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from Nov. 11 to 13.
A delegation led by Mazin Al-Kahmous, president of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, attended the event, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.
The conference is part of international efforts to strengthen cooperation against corruption and recover assets, while exchanging best practices and global expertise.
The program includes sessions on national and international anti-corruption efforts, successful asset recovery experiences, and ways to enhance international collaboration against cross-border corruption crimes.
The conference will also cover Interpol’s operational capabilities and cooperation channels, the SPA reported.
The Kingdom’s participation reflects its commitment to working with the international community to uphold integrity and combat corruption, the SPA added.
Last week, an Interpol delegation in Tajikistan visited the General Administration of International Police, or Saudi Interpol, at the Ministry of Interior headquarters in Riyadh.
During the meeting, both sides discussed topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance security cooperation between ºÚÁÏÉçÇø and Tajikistan.
